Republican Congress... How does it feel to kowtow? To bend your knee to a lesser man?

Nearly all politicians aspire to the next level of power.  Especially Republican politicians.  So, I can’t help but wonder…
How does it feel, to grovel at his feet, while listening to him try to string together 3 sentences in a row on the same subject?  To know that this walking, bumbling, squinting, trying-to-project-what-he-thinks-looks-like-confidence pile of hubris just pulled off what YOU NEVER WILL.  That this silver-spoon-in-his-mouth, 4 times failed, bailed out by a reality TV show…. jackass... will be the next PRESIDENT of the United States.  And you never will.  You’ve been bested by a walking caricature.
He doesn’t share your positions on issues.  He doesn’t care about your “agenda”.  He doesn’t care about anything beyond how it will shape Donald Trump’s legacy and fortune.  And you get to lick his boots.  Tell me, how does Trump foot odor infused Italian leather taste?  I do hope you enjoy it, you’ll be tasting it for some time.
So every time you hear him speak... every time you bend a knee before his golden toilet… every time you enter his presence, remember — He is your better.  You serve him.  You, who have long practiced the art of verbal jujitsu to avoid being pinned down by a question — He has no such skill.  You, who have carefully laid out your policy positions in such a manner to secure certain coalitions, and practiced such message discipline — He rebuts his own comments within days, if not hours, if not within the same conversation.  You, who have toiled through so many campaigns, climbing the political ladder so carefully, spending endless, tedious hours fundraising and gladhanding those who would financially support you — He has parachuted in to the top of your pyramid and become Pharoah overnight.
Tell me, Republican politician — How does that feel?
Enjoy it.  You deserve it.

Trump picks billionaire Wall Street trading firm founder Vincent Viola as Army secretary

Donald has apparently settled on his new secretary of the Army. The good news is that he was actually in the Army—but then again, Ben Carson will be in charge of Housing and Urban Development because he has lived in housings and urbans, so by that standard Carson is twice as qualified at his job as this fellow. The even better news is that Donald Trump continues to drain the swamp by picking up all the little swamp creatures and giving them brand new offices.
President-elect Donald Trump will nominate former infantry officer, billionaire businessman and National Hockey League team owner Vincent Viola as secretary of the Army, his transition team announced Monday.
Viola, who is reportedly worth $1.8 billion, is the founder of electronic trading firm Virtu Financial and was previously the chairman of the New York Mercantile Exchange from 2001 to 2004.
So he checks off the is himself a billionaire and Wall Street largekitty boxes. He alsodoesn't plan to divest from his company in order to take on the Army job, so you can see why Trump is so enamored with the guy.

Anti-Trump

   Rest easy anti-trumpster's.
When our military is fighting wars conveniently designed to enrich Trump, the Republican brand will take a huge hit.

Trump's Team Is Deplorable

If you keep up with politics then you already know that trump is picking nothing but ass-wipes who are probably going to wipe out any progress in civil rights gains as well as any gains to in our education system. Of course, there are others that I will not get into right now, but, we are basically going to be a screwed country under these clowns.

The education secretary is the first to hold the job who never attended public schools or sent her children to one. The attorney general fights voting rights protections, the Health and Human Services secretary opposes the Affordable Care Act and the HUD secretary rips government safety nets that help the poor.    The head of the Environmental Protection Agency sued it over power plant emissions standards, champions the fossil fuel industry and hates environmental regulations.
